Maid Visa Cancellation Process

Cancelling a maid’s visa essentially means ending the domestic worker visa sponsorship and employment contract. If there are unsatisfactory remarks from the maid’s side, you have the option, as an employer, to cancel the maid’s visa by contacting the TADBEER maid and nanny visa cancellation center, an approved agency by Ministry of Human Resources and Emiratisation (MOHRE).

It is important to note that the sponsor is the only one who can cancel the domestic helper work permit. It can be cancelled within 28 days of the visa’s expiration date or may vary depending on immigration.

If the sponsor decides to cancel the contract after the expiration of maid’s visa, then there will be a fine to be paid to complete the processes.

Steps to Follow when Cancelling Maid Visa in Dubai

Visit TADBEER Center or submit maid visa cancellation form via the Smart App.
Your application will be then transferred to conduct an audit to make sure that all necessary paperwork and conditions are fulfilled.
Customer will be informed of the type of incompetence via the Smart App or through the TADBEER Service Center if the conditions are not met or if there is any reason for refusal.
Then the customer can either visit the TADBEER website to connect with the customer support team online or visit the center ( TADBEER Location) to communicate with the help desk in person to follow up with the application status.
Finally, you will have your deposits returned and the maid's visa will be cancelled. The departure of domestic workers can be changed as per the immigration rules.

The maid visa cancellation cost of a domestic worker inside the country is AED 161.89

Domestic Worker (Outside Country):
The cost for cancelling the residence permit of a domestic worker if she is outside the country is AED 261.89

Note: For outside-country cancellations, the domestic worker needs to be outside the country for more than 3 months for immigration to consider processing the application.
